Handmade table clock plate from 1977

Post25 Dec 2021, 02:31

This clock was produced by young Pulsar (Moscow) worker. He had nothing except ICs in cases and LED indicators. So he placed parts on textolite board, connected them with wires, soldered together. Later he glued it with epoxy. It based on two ICs - one for hours and minutes, another one for seconds. It looks terrificly ugly, but it still works! The clock had never been in case. I want to add modern push buttons and place in custom case.

Thats brilliant Andrew. Are you going to frame it with buttons on the side of the frame so you can see everything. Thats what I would do, its a work of art. I cant wait to see your finished project. Merry Christmas
