Bought a watch from me. I sent it registered to Germany. he told me it was lost i traced it only to find out he refused it because he did not want to pay customs dues. he never even signed for it.i cannot get it back because there is no return postage. he wrote paypal in a charge back the following below. what BS he could not had even opened the package without signing for it and paying dues. don't sell to this guy he may do the same to you. Now i'm out a watch and postage fees $24.
Hello, yesterday I received a letter from the Hamburg Main Custom Office to pick up a shipment from the U.S., and so did I. The customs official gave the package to me and witnessed me opening it carefully and checking the condition of the watch. I did not leave the custom office with the watch. I had a close look at it, and due to my disappointment I refused the delivery. I returned the watch, it is on it´ s way back to the sender. So please, return the money to me. Tank you. There are several points of insuffiency. The Reasons are: 1. The watch did not work as shown on the ebay-auction. After having carefully pushed the button, it showed just one single number. I tryed it again, but the watch just showed another single number, at a different position for some seconds(2xxx, x9xx, xxx0, xx.xx). As a matter of fact, the quality promised by the auction ("WATCH KEEPS PERFECT TIME, AND DATE")was not statable. 2. The watch appeared to be much bigger ("Men´s")on ebay compared to it´s real size. This hardly can be a men´s watch. It looks like a ladies size watch. 3. I could never wear it, because it is impossible for a normal sized man to pull this watch over one´s hand. 4. There is some slight chipping on the left side of the display. I do not accept this watch. Please return the US $ 150,00 completely. Thank you. Yours sincerly Ulf Wilkowski / 2007-12-19
