synchronar

Post26 Feb 2008, 07:16

i have a synchronar that i purchased in 1975 or 76. it has been in a drawer for about 15 yrs. i had taken it apart and removed the cells because they were corroding. over the weekend i hooked up a 3v lithium cell to it, a lo and behold it works. however, the led's are very faint. it seems to me that that is why i put it up. i would like to know if there is anything i can do to fix this problem? i do not know what happened to the bracelet either. i think i put it on another watch, which i probably sold. thx. in advance. peter

Hi Peter,
If you hooked up the lithium cell without the solar cell attached the watch will light up dim as if you were in a dark room.Or maybe there is a bad connection somewhere?

I replied to your email with several options available.

Kind Regards, Howard

Sorry about the double post guys.

Ed there was an internal server error and 404 not found on first attempt so i used the back button and submited again.
[Thanks Howard...others including myself have had this issue during last few days. I'll be on the hosting company pronto. Ed]
