Item was received. Buyer left good feedback.
The item was sold as-is, no warranty.
I disclosed in the auction text that the watch was opened and could not be considered waterproof.
If it comes back, I'll put it back in the drawer and forget about it. Oh, and I'm done with paypal.

The two underlined points should seal it in your favor, but yeah, the Paypal people can be such a-holes...."As-is" and "no warranty" just don't compute with them.

I'm with bucko - find it another home or have someone knowledgable look at it....water can short the batteries and solar cell but if there was a fair amount of potting gel still over the board a good drying out and fresh cells might bring it right back. Best of luck with it.

Ahh, this really is a shame. Javier used to be so good to do business with. Then he started selling the fake Catena & Limit LCDs after getting his feet wet on the Lip "look-alikes" that have his "MW" on them(turns out, all of these watches are made at the same f'n place in China). Then it evolved into him doing business with my nemesis in England(they both are selling the same stuff, under different names). I think it is a sign of the tough economic times....retailers of luxury items(myself included) are wise to keep other avenues for making a buck open, rather than screwing the customers. During good times people might forget it and move on; during bad times the burn lingers indefinately.

I agree with Ed on the fact that Javier and Phil are co conspiritors to fraud.They worked together to blackmail merchandise from me using ebay feedback.They both were given merchandise/refund with the promise from Phil that he would remove both his and Javiers negative feedback.Of course i was duped and can't sell on ebay.Javier first scampaled me back in 2006 when he was also given a refund.

I forgot to mention Javiers shipping address is in Hong Kong,atleast at the time i sent him the extorted merchandise.i guess this puts him closer to the source of non jumpers.
Additional info: Javier is also retro763 at ebay.He dares not sell watches under that account of his,only beefs up + feedback selling handbags and such. Anyone else sell a watch to Javier/ retro763?
