Clear Case Synchronar

Anyone have an opinion on this watch?
Looks pretty neat to me, shame it's out of my price range.
I will try an extra line or two on the lottery, you never know.

Yep, it's a sweet looking watch. I wonder if the band is titanium too ?

From what I've seen, MK3s have diagonal batteries. MK1s have the side by side batteries. I'm not sure about Mk2s.

I'm far from expert in this though, so if someone (Howard !) can outline the subtle differences between each Mk model, I'd appreciate it.

Rgds,
Andrew.

Well, it's not the only one of two known out there...I have two clear top Synchronars, one Mark 3, One Mark 4, both from Howard. The Reihl brothers have also sold a few other cleartop cases/parts, but I haven't kept track of them, seems Howard mentioned his father had roughly a dozen or so of those made. The Titanium case seems a lot of bother to me, as it only drops 10-15 grams(1/2 oz.) from the weight of the already very light Synchronar. It's a nice piece regardless.

I have chanced upon the answer to my own question -

"Is the seller known on the forum?"

The clue was in the listing all along!

It's elementary my dear Watson.
