Cool thought, but I already have this nice vintage sign(working) that says "Watch repairing" then below that ir says "Jewelry, Diamonds, Watches" with a nice graphic of same to the right. Straight out of the early '60s. The unit above it is A Roman numeral digital clock, the one with the blue digits is a Panasonic Audio timer, which I use in "Auto ON/OFF to control my soldering iron....so I don't leave it on for hours at a time, uselessly. BTW: those old audio timers are available dirt cheap, and are extremely cool way to control all sorts of devices.

Not exactly a "flat"....my barn is to the right, out of the picture.

Yes, my trusty 1220c....great printer, although, a bit old(8-9yrs.). But try finding a mid-large format printer anymore. :x Everything is either letter size or you have to go to a REAL large format printer. I just wanted something to run 11"X 22" paper through, to do 9 X16 brochure mock--ups for customers. When I was still doing graphics work.

You can get alot of house for your dollar in the States, compared to one bedroom apartments in London going for £500,000. (no offense to Eds mansion) :O`~

Since you are curious....here in the sticks, on 3.5 acres(1.4 hectares) around $400k. 2800 square feet not counting the finished basement, 5 br., 3.5 baths, central vacuum syustem, whole house natural gas generator. Somewhere more "prim" or "tonie" it might be more like $800k-1.2 . This area is zoned farm, so if I don't want to mow the lawn for a month(or two) there is nothing for the neighbors to complain about. Perfect for me. I've lived in a manicured suburb before and done the landscape wars scene. Waking up to deer laying about in the front yard is much more exciting, especially for my dogs. Always hook up with a partner who makes as much or more than you. And one with brains is easier to "take" on the road of life...stops you from thinking about pushing them from the rolling vehicle. You heard here first kids.

There isn't that much to be made. However, I have had some decent paying jobs and my last wife and this one both had an advanced degree. I watch very little TV and do "some" work every day of the week.

Not suprised you don't mow the lawn as often as you should Ed, with 3.5 acres of it! I don't do mine as much as I should and I only have about 30 square ft.
