Do we know for sure that johnt is actually a reincarnation of the "the pigeon"? Maybe we should wait for the admin to check before we all beat on him. We could as well have scared off a new member.

@ johnt: Next time you enter a forum for the first time, just say hello and write a few words of introduction, and don't write all upperces or all lowercase. The welcome will be a lot warmer then

I for one see no harm in publishing the member IP address. And it does have great value in exposing these kinds of problems where we don't know with complete certainty who is writing.
Is this address that of new member johnt, or one of pigeon's? If the latter: how can we be sure johnt IS pigeon? And as long as we aren't sure we IMHO better not beat him too hard, just stay "on hold" intil the admin can check the IP address. Yes, IP blocking does not work, this has been discussed before.

As for publishing a poster's IP address: I have not yet decided if I'd my location made public - even though it's inexact anyway (in my case currently 50km off target http://www.utrace.de/?query=94.218.43.226).
I can login to my account from anywhere and could be posting from a place that i DON'T want others to know - Honi soit qui mal y pense

Still no answer to my question: are we sure this is pigeon? Any evidence besides spelling? I haven't seen any, so IMO it's nothing but a (strong) suspicion yet.

I'm absolutely of your opinion about dealing with mentally ill people like pigeon. But until it's evident that it IS actually him, I'll be cautious about what I say - I don't want to have to apologize when it turns out he's actually someone else.
That was my point.

Can't believe it - I'm probably defending pigeon here

'Johnt' stated that he was going to ask for the module on another forum and shortly afterwards a post was made on .cc by garyjames email at garygibb..... for the exact same module with the same description 'Bulova Drivers N7'

http://www.dwf.cc/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=559

He also sold another forum member the same watch.

So I think it is pretty conclusive that johnt is in fact the pigeon.

With regard to new member zookeaper (note the spelling) in a recent post on .cc garyjames wrote
keaping great time so i will keap it running for a day or so just to make sure

Looks like more pigeon poo to me!

Oh brother! It seems the pigeon has come home to roost.
And he's calling the DWF home!
The good news is, considering the savvy members we have here, he wont be successful and will (hopefully) finally realize he wont get any traction on this site and will (eventually) give up.
Are you listening pigeon?? WE KNOW YOU CAN HEAR US!!

New avatar for both his more recent incarnations, johnt and zoocreaper (yes, this is your friendly site administrator here).

Sorry it went this far - I will now contact his ISP and make a complaint.
