Hi All
I'm starting to stray into the realms of 70s LCDs and I picked up a cheap Seiko to have a play about with. First problem was an old (leaking) battery. Removed it and cleaned up the battery bay a bit.
Gold contacts are in perfect order, however they appear to be clipped or rivetted to copper (?) mini-posts and it is one of these (-ve) terminal that appers to have corroded to nothing (see pic).

Could this be repaired with a bob of solder perhaps. I have not yet stripped off the LCD display to look at the rest of teh guts but that
might be teh next step.
Suggestions ?
Cheers
