I think the thing that people really miss on those watches, from a longevity & value standpoint, is the module. As long as you don't lift the plastic off the module(exposed wire-bonds everywhere), that sucker is really bullet proof in my opinion. I get approximately 250 repairs a year, I have
never been asked to fix one of those modules, other than a few Mike Barbaro had that had been manhandled over the years. It dawns on me - the problem is the case looks just like a Men's Dress to the casual purchaser. Maybe even to the experienced collector?!

Gary Ratcliff was selling off the last of those modules for $150 each - damn shame that watch didn't fetch more, the difference was like what you get for a empty, f'd Dress case on the 'bay.
I bought a few of those modules off Gary Ratcliff...look forward to putting them to good use some day. Really beautiful display and setting function, IMO.
