Glad to see strong bidding activity on my broken watch....
I am disappointed to read that my watch on Ebay is causing some negative comments on the Blade Runner prop site linked in the previous post. I admit that I scrounged to find that Microma out of a heap of other junk LCD watches when I saw the other example hit $3.5K, but I personally do not consider myself an "Ebay fraudster trying to make a quick buck." I was very up-front on its condition and took many close-up pictures for the potential buyers to review...but they are correct about the quick buck part.
I started the watch at a $1....and the kooky BR collectors are actually setting its worth. I suppose I could have just thrown the watch away or destroyed it in a public execution perhaps, but that would mean that someone's Blade Runner costume would be incomplete (and that would just be too cruel to fathom....)
I guess I should just quit snooping around in that other forum......
