Litronix only showing colon and 0

Post22 Mar 2011, 21:18

I just picked up a couple LEDs a boxed Litronix and a Gillette reflex. The are both really clean inside. The Gillete shows no life although I'm not sure which way round the batteries go and whether they are meant to have a clamp.
The Litronix with batteries only shows a 0 and a colon. Any ideas anyone?

Also what batteries do they take? I have AG12s in the Litronix, they seem to perfectly but dont work when the back is on. Is there something im missing.

Thanks for any help.

It could be the q.c. is no longer functioning. I must say that the LED display sure is small on that one! You might be better off buying a running replacement module with larger digits. Just my opinion.....

Its only the plastic magnifier that I forgot to put back in missing thats making the digits small.
Both watches, the litronix and the gillette have all their fine wire exposed on the boards the must be a nightmare to do any work on.
