P2 LINK

Post13 Apr 2011, 15:31

Hello all,
Summer is coming and it seems my wrist seems to swell during this time, i will like to get prepared. I have a spare p2 gold filled bracelet link which connects the band to the clasp, is there a way to separate it to use as a spare link? it there a way to separate without separate it?

Thanks in advance

Hi Smokefrog,
I don't believe there is a safe way to seperate those two links because one is the end-piece that holds a pin that connects to the folding clasp.
I think you would be better off asking around to see if you could buy an extra link or two, or buy the longer gold fill buckle. That gives you a few extra holes to work with.

Gus:
I do that all the time - it is no big deal. Take two pliers, grab the two ends of that very last link, wiggle a little as you pull outward. The pin is just pressed in. The remaining link will be great!
