Seiko 0624 specialist?

Post10 Aug 2011, 18:15

Anyone well versed in the 0624 module?

It is marked ´Adjusted for temperature´.
What does this mean?
Is the module what we would now call temperature compensated?
If so, how? With a temperature sensitive resistor? or?? and can it be identified on the module???

Thanks.

With old Seiko LCDs (and some quartz analogs) "Adjusted for temperature" means the rate has been adjusted at a temperature corresponding to the average on-wrist temperature, typically 27C. There are no temperature compensating components per se in these old modules.
