Which Gender....I think Ladies.

Post21 Sep 2011, 17:00

http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Longines-RED-Mineral-Glass-LED-Vintage-Watch-Deployment-1970s-STUNNING-/270821270532?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item3f0e34a404#ht_500wt_950 I'm thinking the button contacts at 10 & 2, on a HUghes module, means it is holding the 20mm. Making it a Ladies. Despite how big it looks against his/her hirsute arm. :o

It's always hard to tell if you haven't seen the model before.
I generally think that if the vendor lists is as 'Unisex', then you can assume it's a ladies watch !
Having said this, the band/clasp doesn't taper down like you'd expect on a ladies watch.

I'll give you that on the band, but possibly not the original band. :-?
The case is only 30mm tall - that is pretty small.

What do you think of this one:

I was tempted, but decided it was a ladies watch. This sellers other watches state they are 'Mens' or 'Gents'. This one doesn't stipulate.

Yeah, that one gets into that same category...it looks like a gents watch, but the dimensions indicate otherwise. I was motivated to bring that other one to the front as I would hate for someone to pop good money for it, then receive it and think, '"oh no, that's tiny". Although many of us have done that. I won a Quantum driver's watch a while back, thinking "what a steal". It is a perfect, tiny copy of the man's - only 21mm wide.
