Is the upper display on this model larger than the original V-Tec Alpha? Or is just that the lower line is smaller making the upper look bigger?

The lower display on the w40 is about 90% the size of the old alpha 1 digits .The upper display is about 75% bigger, its a bolder ,clearer display.
