Casio 46 problem

Post25 Jan 2013, 18:30

Hello fellow forum members,

I have a strange problem with my casio watch module 46.

When a battery is inserted it starts working after aprox. 10 minutes.

I works perfectly then, but when the watch is worn (and becomes warm ?) the watch goes blank again, then after 1,5 minutes when taken off, it starts working again.

Does anybody know what this could be ?

the poblem is only when you wear the watch?
If so could be a swet infiltration....i had the same problem with a seiko and when i opened the case back i found some corrosion that was not there before...this short my circuit...
Let me know
Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

Thanks for your reply simone,
Strange enough, i can wear it all day and i stays on now :-? :-)
I bought this watch as a non worker, i cleaned it and it works.
It's a NOS casiotron that has been in storage for i think more then 30 years, so maybe the electronics (capacitors) had to find their range or something.

It seems to be working well.
Here a pic, to show what watch we are talking about.
