Digi Watch Clock Thing

Post13 Mar 2013, 17:35

Just a heads up on my auction for a Russian made digital clock in the shape of a watch, I've only ever seen this one, anyone else seen one before?

I spotted that as well, at first I was trying to figure out what kind of watch that was until I read the description again that it was a wall clock, M:)W:)M

The question is which DWF member is going to buy it as trophy for the site? :amen:

I pondered cutting one of those weight-lifting belts in half and making a new strap.

Good idea but.. I've never liked a digital with a leather strap, for me it has to be a bracelet, or at least a rubber strap which is made to imitate a metal strap/bracelet.

P.S. the postage is high for overseas buyers as I wont take the chance with ebayers and send it none recorded, the prices quoted are around actual cost anyway (I just round up to .95), but if one of our trusted members wins this I'll send it by a cheaper method if preferred.

Tried and failed. Snap! I couldn't think of a single commmon item that would make a good faux metal band. Maybe metal pieces cut-out and bonded to a softer band material would be a decent look for hanging on the wall. I'm sure my wife would be relieved to know I didn't "win" it :-) - she detested the roman numeral LED clock above my work area. I find the constantly changing roman numerals quite relaxing...

Sorry you didn't win it Ed, it would have interesting to see what you did with it. In all the time I've owned it I never once mounted it, it just sat on a shelf gathering dust
