Fully working HP-01 incl. case & manuals

Post20 Jan 2013, 12:52

Selling an inherited HP-01 in a good condition.
Its got a markless red crystal with clear Hewlett-Packard writing on it.
Brown case (sadly the leather is coming off on several parts of it) and manuals are also coming with it.
The watch will be shipped from Germany.

You can also take a look in this thread for more information:

It might be handy to give an indication of the the price and confirmation that the watch is fully working.

Good advice :)
I will add some pictures later tonight.

I am still not sure about the price -.-
First of all i have to say i'm not in a hurry to sell that watch,
so pm's like "400£ shipped to me" are not getting answered.
The value of that watch is much higher and you "400£-guys" sure know that.

There was a HP-01 in my ebay watchlist that ended last week....well that watch was in a much worse condition and didn't came with the box and manuals.
The winning bid was 630€ (530£).
So according to estimates on this forum and the guy from led-forever.com a price around 750-800£ seems to be legit to me.
Feel free to pm me guys.
Just dont get tacky :-)

£750 to £800 seems about right to me.

My formula for working out an asking price would be to base it on how much I would actually receive, minus selling fees, if I took the alternative path and sold the watch for the mid-estimate value on eBay, so....

Mid-estimate price = £775
15% selling fees = £116.25
Actual cash amount received = £658.75

I would then divide the selling fees by two, pass half onto the buyer, keep half for myself....

So £116 (ignoring the 25p) divided by two = £58
Theoretical cash received from selling on eBay = £658.75
Add the two together to get to asking price (£658.75 + £58).
Asking price = £716.75

Advantages - You receive more cash for the watch, the buyer pays a lower price for the watch both parties get a great deal.
