This one is called a "football" case probably from American football, it was cheap as a nonworker and the dial was aged so I had a go on the lathe.
In your collection... what the shape of the second one from the bottom?

the black background and bracelet made it look totally different ;) and reminded me of a horseshoe case similar to some Omega f300hz

Great watches i love the ones without the dial. The second case from the bottom looked like the accutron logo shape to me(is it?)

i only have one a nice gold cased version but all it does is hum. It did work originally.

regards

You might need to adjust the pawl (locking) finger or exchange the index wheel

No, don't have an accutron shaped case. The ACCUQUARTZ is also 14kt with a real diamond.

Humming but no spin may be an index wheel problem or it is need of a service. In either case remove the battery and search for an accutron repair person Is it a 214 or 218? 214 parts are rarer, 218 parts more common.

Cheers, Geoff

Nice watches :mega:

I always fancied a M7 spaceview (or something a little funky) to match my birth year but as yet I am still waiting to hear these hum.

yep, it's rare....never seen one.
does it have a rotating jeweled logo? it's from the same period as the SeaHorse models so should have such logo.

I don't recall but is the tungsten case lighter or heavier than steel?

Just to be technical...solid tungsten has the same specific gravity (density) as pure gold (19.3), so a tungsten case would be about two and a half times as heavy as one made of alloy steel, and about nine-tenths as heavy as one made of pure platinum.
Believe it or not, I DO own a single Accutron (it showed up mixed in with all the 18K Pulsars). It's a mint stainless Bulova Centennial Edition. It's the only Accutron model ever made without a date code (it was produced in only one year, 1975, to celebrate Bulova's 100th anniversary), and is one of the rarest. I'm pretty sure I have pics of it somewhere...I'll post a couple if I can find them.
