This is an amazing watch which seems to be hard to come by.
A Bulova Accutron.
However it is not a tuning fork watch from Bulova but it still has some amazing features.
It's crown can be pulled out in 3 steps.
As usual to set the time but this is the TZ version in which case it will also allow you to adjust the hour hand only.
This of course comes in handy when changing Timezones.
There is also a very clever button at the 4 hour mark position.
This function is called ACCUSET and is pure MAGIC.
To use the button, the watch must have been synchronized to coordinate the second hand and the button.
This has to be done every time the battery is changed.
1) Pull the crown out to position 3 when the seconds hand reaches the 60 second position
2) The second hand will stop
3) push in the button
4) set the time as normal
This tells the circuit where 12 is.
To use the ACCUSET button:
1) push the button, this stops the second hand
2) when the time reference reaches the 60th second, release the button
The second hand will then move to the correct second by either moving slow or fast until it reaches the correct second.
Simply Clever
He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.
The reason i collect watches is because it feels like i'm buying time.
