OMEGA TC2

Post26 Jun 2013, 10:55

Hi there every one please check out my Omega Time Computer 2 in 14krt gold, this is in very nice condition and with the added bonus of working , it has a spare link for the strap and setting instructions. if any one would like to make an offer please contact me at gary.lawlor@hotmail.com.
I have this up for sale with a buy it now for £1000,
I also have a beautiful working example of a Sicura solar digital , This was bought from Takahuru in Japan the very same gentleman who wrote the two books Volume 1 and volume 2 on LED and LCD watches. I can prove the providence through the receipt
I must stress this is a 10 out of 10 example. this I have not listed on ebay however I would let this lovely watch go to a good home at the wright price,
offers over £700.
Lastly I would like to thank the Digital Watch Forum for providing truly fantastic forum.
please feel free to contact me at my hotmail address.
best regards Gary.

Very strange listing, "DO NOT click 'buy it now' and then ask to collect as I will report you to the Police" huh? Report to police for what exactly? Also £1000 for a none working gf Omega? bit pricey.

Assumng theres not another Omega on eBay for £1000, and I'm looking at the right one, there's this post, with all it's spelling mistakes, including 'providence' which is spelt correctly (provenance) on eBay. Most worringly of all.. if you google search Latham Prestige Watches you can see a LinkedIn profile for the owner, Christopher Latham, who seems to have had a name change here to Gary.

Right ok my spelling is not my strong point, I have not changed my name, as fare as I know its been the same from birth, I have to say your all a suspicious lot.
I simply posted the wrong library photo off the web of a TC1, I DO HOWEVER HAVE A GENUINE tc2 THAT IS WORKING FULLY,
I am in the process of uploading the actual item onto ebay, this has been a little difficult with having a bit of a duff camera.

Okay if that's not your eBay listing then I stand corrected. Not sure about 'suspicious lot' as it was just me who posted concerns, but yeah after many years on the net and seeing lots of victims get scammed I am very wary, especially with so many people on here lately coming on with little or no previous posts offering expensive watches for sale.

richard_uk,

I do completely understand were you are cumin from, however I have actually been a member of this site fore quit a long time, I have also had quit a canny chat now and then via email to some very well regarded people on this site, I am also good friends through emails with Takahuru, "who your asking" well the very man who wrote and published MONDO watches the bible volume 1-2 on LCD/LED watches, not to mention a few canny chat again via email with MR Bruce the pulsar king.
To date I have quit a substantial collection. However I am more of a reader and listener and I should really contribute more to this fantastic forum but thats just me. I hope Richard this will dispel your fears my fiend.
P.s I have managed to upload the photos of my TC2 on the ebay listing ;0)

I think we need similar rules here to other forums, any sale items need to be shown in a photo which includes the user name of the seller, at least then we can see the item does exist. Anyway thanks for the dignified reponses to my somewhat asccusatory posts :)

P.S. can't see your listing on eBay, unless the one I posted was yours?
