Pulsar lcd 3140-2

Post30 Oct 2013, 19:22

Ciao a tutti...Finally it's arrived from USA!
The last lcd watch produced by pulsar...all original with paper and gift box.I've change the band because the original mesh one was too big for my small wrist :bang: (do you like my choice?)
This watch has an incredible quartz accuracy, the paper said +- 60 sec per year   .
The module is a well built Ricoh made in Japan with only time, date, sec and light...
Is this the most accurate lcd in the world?

Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

It's certainly a nice LCD, but as for accuracy it's better than many modern LCD's that don't use atomic timekeeping calibration. Most modern digitals like the Casio's tend to have a + or - tolerance of 30 seconds per month. The most accurate LCD's I've owned were the Dynamic Scattering early LCD watches. They tended to only be off around 10 seconds per year.

This watch does not appear to have its' original stainless mesh bracelet (identical to the 14KGF Men's Dress model)....it should look like the illustration in the booklet. Can you show a couple additional pics including the bracelet clasp? BTW, this is the only instance of duplication of model numbers in the entire Pulsar product line...the 3140 is also the P3 in full 18K solid gold.
