At the risk of re-igniting this wretched thread, let it be noted for all time that this "ultra-rare" item sold today for a paltry 170 UK pounds (about US$278), which, by my calculations, was barely past a break-even (and, substantially below the initial thousand-pound asking price). I may have to revise my opinion as to whether there is order or justice in the Universe toward the affirmative...I can only hope we will be spared any future repetitions of this sort of nonsense.

I quite liked that finish tbh !@@! Anyway a couple of years back i came across this Pulsar, with King Hussein of Jordan emblem engraved into it. I thought it may have added value but it sold for less than i would have expected to have gotten for a standard watch in the same condition. Not sure if this engraving would have been done at the factory or aftermarket, my gut instinct is factory though

My ngut instinct says "Aftermarket". Especially in the emirates and countries around the area there are some jewelers that mostly do customizing dials and cases since there are loads of people who buy quite valuable watches and feel they need to have their family logo or whatever added to the dial to make it "even more special".
