NO, not custom, but maybe not intended for export, either. The split-contrast screen is visually a distraction, and where are the seconds? Digital watches are no fun if you can't see the seconds...even the early Seikos and Casios got that right, at least!

I presume that the refreshrate off the screen is to slow to show seconds. Never seen this one before and a search also tells nothing.

There are 3 models available with that technique from Epson. The pictured one which is focused on Big Ben. There are also the "moomin" cartoon based model and a soccer model.
