Seiko 0138-5010

Post13 Jun 2014, 15:55

Here to show you my latest find.....an amazing NOS Seiko 0138-5010 black version. It's the second time that i found in Milan's stores this model and if i remember well i give the silver version to Kasper some months ago... ;-)
The watch is very simple with chrono, countdown, date and light...so essential...with an incredible and fantstic built...This one was made in May 1978 and the original price on tag was 220.000 lire (a very expensive watch   ).
Just lovely the contrast between the white-gray dial and the entire black case and band....

Enjoy

My god Simone... what a find..
This is a Seiko I have desired for a long time, but ive given up hope to find one in a good condition with it original bracelet in good shape..
And here you are again, picking it out of some old stock, in nos condition. Incredible.. How many jewelers dating back to the 70's are there in Milan? 700?
Anyway, good stuff, enjoy wearing this gem :-D

( Ah! whenever you want to get rid of it.. plz contact me first :secret: )

Congrats Simone, you are one of the best treasure's finder of the world :-D!!

And your city, Milano, was really a shiny city of richness in the '70s and that means that a LOT of innovative watches of that era were sold.
Quartz watches, Electronic watches, LCD, LED and so on.

Ahhhh, the old good time, the old good watches.

Enjoy your Seiko, my friend :mega:!!

P.S: If I were you, I would keep it NOS :!:
