Seiko F322-5000D

Post06 Nov 2014, 23:11

Just wanted to share this. Got it in a lot of Japanese watches I received at the weekend (bought the lot for a mechanical watch so this was a bonus). It's a Seiko F322-5000D dress watch and what I like most of all about it is that it sets using the crown in such an intuitive way that even I managed to figure it out (without instructions) in less than 30 seconds. I like that.

A real beauty.... :O`~
I'm a fan of any Seiko F serie....
Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way

What are you insinuating Kaspar ;-)

Funnily enough, last night when I took the picture I presumed it was a mid-size mans dress watch - the band is definately for a man. You got me wondering though. In the 1980 Seiko catalogue it's amongst the mens watches and there are pages of other mens LCD watches between this...

Which look like ladies versions of the same watch to me. Shame I can't read the text.

Anyway I'll take a pic of it next to another watch so you get an idea of scale when I get home from work to give a better idea.

Here are a couple of pics to give an idea of scale. The F322 is 27mm across not including the crown...

I think it's a bloke watch. An effeminate, small blokes watch...
