Junghans dress

As you should read in my last topic i'm trying to restore this watch...this one should be a classic casiotron's junghans clone.On ebay i saw two other junghan's clone...
The module is the 76 made by casio...unfortunatly a renata 391 was left in....

Disassembled and clen it with vinegar then demineralizated water and isosphorpilic....now only the light works:

Now i put a fresh 391 battery in waiting for any signal of life... ~:(

Hi Simone!
Another nice catch and a good restoration result!
Was the watch initially dead when you added the battery after cleaning, but eventually started to work again "spontaneously' ?
I should be more aware of that behavior.. I read several posts in here describing the same. Meanwhile , I often remove the battery after a negative result.. In the near future I will wait 48 hours or so :)

Well...after the cleaning operation i put in a fresh 391 in but the only function that worked was the light...sometimes some digits appeared only when the light button was pushed...sometimes not and the digits appeared as you said "spontaneously"..
After 2 weeks of "battery juice" the watch started to work fine and now it is still working...so my advice is to wait at least one week or maximum two with a fresh battery in...anyway not always a watch resurrect: i still remember the same problem with a 1977 Casio QS :x
