Piotr,

I'm always super impressed at your write-ups, your photographs, and your sheer nerve at taking these things apart. Truly amazing.

You shouldn't have too much difficulty, most of these you see faulty have digital display faults, not analogue

Omega has the motors. I searched for over a year, HOWEVER, the reason mine wasn't working was actually the gear train needed cleaning as the oil had turned to gum.

I was disappointed with Omega who did a full service, actually I think it was strictly a circuit swap. Three years later the analogue stopped. After a long search I took it to an Omega specialist (some one who used to be an Omega contract repairer but unfortunately Omega has gone the Rolex way closing down their out of town service) in Sydney who explained that the motors are at Omega now.

He cleaned the gear train and voila, working like a charm for the last year!

So, clean the gear train first and test the motor continuity.

Unfortunatedly, the watch came to me in late 90s with no hands and step motor. I tried another Omega motors, but none fit perfect. I've made TLC to analogue part - it is in good condition, all parts are good and intact. Only a few rust on the plastic day-ring. Afraid to remove it not to spoil the ring.

Hi Andrew, happy to help with a new motor and fix if required.
Have you checked my detailed write-up about this watch?
My repair suggestions include a few that the factory service manual never covered so technically things that repair centers would never perform.
In ref to relying on Omega to repair any of their vintage quartz watches then that's a "no through road".
Once in a while you might get lucky if a dated service center has some parts but they are usually long gone and they simply are no longer taking on any specific repairs with probably some odd exceptions for the gold most expensive pieces.
I'll send you a PM.
