small collection of LCD modules

Post20 Jan 2016, 14:05

When I visit my friends in Geneve they allow me to look for smth interesting in old boxes of closed many years ago workshop. Sometimes I find quite interesting movements. Most of them NOS and hadn't been cased. I like these pieces of history.

Very interesting and nice modules :)
Always nice to have friends like that. Now you can get those "nos" watches on ebay with destroyed modules for a low price :grin1:

Hi,
a very nice collection of quite rare modules, e.g. :
1. ESA 934 611 (711) with the beautiful "rounded" numbers on the display (used in some - and quite rare - high-end digital watches of the late 70''s, such as Longines/Wittnauer, Certina, Avia, Catena etc)

2. ESA 9315, used also in some of the rare LCD Catena Spacesonic's watches

Best regards,
M.
