Ventura V-Tec Alpha bracelet clasp

Post13 Mar 2016, 19:07

After about ten years of daily wear the clasp on my Alpha finally gave out last night as I was taking the watch off

Before I contact Ventura, I don't suppose anyone here has a clasp? I have a worrying feeling I'm going to have to buy a complete bracelet which won't be cheap.

Well Ventura (preciluxe) came through, they are supplying me with a replacement clasp for 80 euro. I also needed a ceramic alarm plate as the last time I changed the battery I discovered mine had disintegrated, they tried to tell me that they couldn't sell me this part and I would need to send the watch to them for a technician to fit it, luckily I managed to convince them that I know what I'm doing and can fit it myself, so they're supplying me with this too, for around 20 euro

You could use any piezo disk of similar size, either salvaged from an old digital or purchased online for a few cents.

I did think that but didn't want to take any chances with it.
