Here a 1980 page from Casio Catalogue. The stainless steel version had a less price (69.99 USD) than the gold plated one (89.99 USD).
If the Italian old price for the stainless steel was 165.000 LIRE I can suppose the gold plated was nearly 200.000 LIRE
(a big amount of money in 1979-80).But we have to think that it was a dual layer LCD panel,fully calendar until 2099,ten tone pitches and a superb liquid crystal digits layout.
Just think that the Seiko D031 was priced 175.000 LIRE in 1981
