Thanks. No delivery date given yet. Yeah, I can put it on the scales. My order number is 3800003802, does that look like 3802 ordered so far from the Hamilton website?

Thanks. No idea if that is a global or regional count.

Wow this is really cool. I would be great if they could also reissue the P1 in limited edition in gold, I'm sure it will sell out quickly! For most of us I'm sure, at least for me, we can only dream about owning one in our collection.

Anyone received their PSR yet ?
Another celeb not mentioned in Hamiltons list was Peter Sellers who wore the stainless version.
Can be seen in the Parkinson interview on youtube.
Can anyone add any others?

At the Hamilton website their description of the Hamilton PSR describes the display as a Hybrid display, any idea that kind of display they are talking about? Is it a combination of LED/LCD technology? In the Youtube video it looks like there is persistence in the time display with ambient light.

"In 1970, Hamilton changed the way the world told time with the debut of the Hamilton Pulsar. Fifty years later, the Hamilton PSR celebrates the launch of that revolutionary first digital watch. Today, a hybrid display and a stainless steel case bring this game-changing invention back to the future."

I watched more Youtube videos and it identified the Hybrid display as LCD and OLED technology. took a screen grab, that's probably why there's confusion on the display type, segment vs. dots like the original Pulsar LED display.

Took two pics, using the LCD in full sun, and OLED in near darkness. In case it isn't apparent from the pictures, the LCD is bar characters, whereas when you press the button (OLED lights for 4 seconds) it is dot numbers instead. Kinda cool. Definitely on the heavy side at 137 grams, but this won't be a daily rotation watch, my Ventura serves that purpose.

Very nice and thanks for sharing, nothing like opening a brand new timepiece box! What type of batteries does it take and what is the expected battery life?

Neither is mentioned in the manual. It says battery replacement is to be performed by Hamilton or a Hamilton service center, no idea whether a regular jeweler could do it.

How does the case back look, is it a screw down case or is there an area on the edge to pop that case open? I'm sure Hamilton will want all work done by them however I would hate to have to send out my watch to have the battery replaced.

That is what I hated about my Junghans, every time it needed a new battery, whether done by Junghans or a jeweler, it always had problems, finally got tired of throwing money at it.
Anyway, the PSR is a screw back.

Nice, I prefer screw back vs case press style.
