Looks like the SS and GF versions have different watch bands. I just noticed it.

Just acquired an almost mint condition gold plated 0624-5009. Module was unrecoverable due to battery acid but the LCD works fine. I donated a working module from my SS version and will be working on putting a working module back into my SS case. Plan to keep this GP version in the case and wear only for special occasions as I've heard the plating can chip fairly easily.

As you know now coconutman the bracelet are different. The gold plate hasn't the same quality funny considering it would have been more expensive. So difficult to find in even remotely good condition so congratulations I bid on it to I think. Sorry for the delay Im not over here much anymore as there isnt much conversation. Im on my FB group digital-watch.

Thanks Adam and that gold 0624 turned out in amazing shape. It must have been lightly worn and put away with the battery left inside, thus the battery acid leak. It was so bad that some of the traces were gone and I tried to add wires to restore continuity but unfortunately all that happens is the back light stays on. I agree about the declining activity on this forum still I did and do learn a lot from a lot of the members here. On FB I'm under the name Bobby Uyehara. To get my SS operational again I did a buy it now on that beat up 0624 gold plated one with the inscription "Pete" on the top of the case. I plan to convert that watchband to a SS finish and use it for the SS 0624. I"m also going to be using that working module to make the SS complete once again.

thanks!

I actually was able to revive the 0624 module. I methodically removed the oscillator board, checked continuity to all traces (found 2 broken one) and resoldered all the joints. Modules is alive and well. All I now need is a matching watchband.
