Geoff,
Your explanation of that initial post now makes this entire incident unfortunate. Bad timing and maybe not the best way to word what you wanted to say. I understand you feel I should have been able to understand your post but please step to my side of the fence for just a moment. At a time when I was wearing a helmet and a flack jacket, a time when most of the heavy fire was coming from across the pond, I was forced to go on defensive. I hope you can understand that I had reason to ?think? you were hostile. This also is what set the tone, in my mind, for future posts. I hope you can understand why I viewed your reply to a request for information with skepticism. My apologies for any misunderstandings!
I am sure if I go back and read your post with this totally new outlook, I will see it differently. I do however not understand the first line:
?That's really interesting, that a company would fight for exclusivity for the way we tell the time? ?
This statement appears to state you think my answer to your request says Time Computer went to court to defend their ?slogan?? Can you please clarify this comment so I understand you correctly.
As I find your recent comments sincere and wish this not to be another war of words. I now understand you better and I think I can interpret your postings better.
As for my comment about you drinking before your posted reply, lets just chalk that one up to my own ?Childish? behavior?..very sorry!
As for your problems with viewing the TC website. Mac users are left in the dark, I was told by the animator the 4% of Mac users would not be able see the video and my choice was to go with the majority. If this is not the reason for any problems your describing then I believe it?s your computer, as I have no knowledge of others with this problem. There were several posts mentioning the problems viewing with a Mac and a Dial-Up connection but they may have been those that were deleted before you were able to see them?
I hate to see you not contribute to posts on this forum that share information on a subject your interested in, let?s please give it a second chance.
Regards,
Dennis
