Dead Synchronar

Post09 Nov 2006, 20:00

Hi I am trying to get some help regarding a dead synchronar.

Unfortunately when I received the watch it had been opened earlier. It appears nothing is missing except the batteries , but I am not sure.
How can I find out what the inside of one should look like, by the way the modle is of the type without the centre steel bar.
I have some photos of the inside but do not know how to attach them to this message.
Thanks

If it has no center bar the Lexan module is a SW version MK III or IV only.If the lexan module has a Lexan/plastic rod down the center then it is a MK III SW.Your info leaves only one question really. Does the Sr # on the right side adjacent to the display begin with the # 4? If so then you have a MK IV.Most likely there is something wrong with yours other than the battery or the person that took it apart would have likely plopped some batteries in it and sold it that way. Hope this helps you identify it.
Is the chip in a package or is it exposed under the silicone?Howard

Howard Thanks for the reply.
I would like to send you some photos of the inside. How do I upload them to this site?

You can't upload picutres to this site. You can use any free picture host on the web and then post a link in this forum.
