Seiko 0644 or 0624?

Post28 Feb 2015, 01:31

I have a working Seiko 0644-8000 - not the most common watch, whose module is compatible with the more popular 0624-5009.

I have a 0624-5009 and spare module already, so this watch is surplus to requirements.

Question - would you sell as a complete 0644 or as a 0624 replacement module? Given the popularity of the 0624 I suspect it would sell better as the module only, but it seems a bit of a shame since the watch isn't in bad condition (needs a clean and polish of the crystal and case, and realignment of the internal bezel but that's about it).

0644 do sell, nice to keep some of the less popular models alive and ticking, always handy to have a spare 0624 module ..

Nice watch! always in my wish list... ;-)
Some watches are made to last only as long as they are fashionable
Some watches, simply are not made to last
Seiko watches are designed to withstand the ravages of both time and fashion
Someday perhaps, all watches will be made this way
