Ok, no so easy job...

On my 0634 case, I used the Dremel + metal polish paste to do the mirror polish on the edges and the face.
The resulte is good but I find that is not so shinny as the original mirror polish, what is the trick ?

Probably finer paste than you are using, you might be putting small marks in the metal if your paste is coarse.

Wet dry prep:

400 grit
800 grit
1000 grit

Paste:

Red jewellers Rouge.
WEENOL metal polish on clean dremel felt buffing wheel.

Clean case with lacquer thinner unless rubber or plastic parts still installed, then use soap and water.

Hello,

I received today the Wenol paste from Thaïland and I tried it directly with my Dremel, the result is amazing, thank for the trick.

By renovating my Seiko, I think more and more that the quality of finish of series 06 is identical to that of Grand Seiko !

Thanks for the polishing tips, I could certainly add more of a polished finish to my 5019 model bezel...Also excellent restoration work on the 5009, simply amazing work, hard to believe it's the same timepiece!
