Synchoserious,

If you are serious about preserving the fine legacy of this watch CREATE OR HAVE CREATED A WEB SITE DEVOTED TO THIS WATCH. Obviously, there is much info on the web about this watch already, but you have much more information to offer. You are in a unique position to expand collectors knowledge about this fine watch.

The web site with your pictures, model #'s, differences between models, documentation, how to's, repair hints, ads, whatever, etc etc WOULD BE INVALUABLE. I certainly appreciate and know that others appreciate the Pulsar web site. Your web site could be of equal value in my opinion.

Yes it will hapen but I have many things that need funding simply by just a few more orders coming in.I really thought I would have sold more by now,but too many people assume that I am busy and or want to sit and wait before they order. Also it sets me back when people pretend that they are going to order and then fail to inform me that they just don't have the money or that their wife would not stand for it.

Just a short note to let you all know, LedWatch will not PM as he no longer part of the DWF forum as he has been kicked.

Until something changes then, don't post expecting a reply from Ledwatch or post comments that he cannot reason with or defend.

Don't ask me why.

Thank you
Geoff

It is odd....I searched and sorted his posts...guy hadn't posted in a while so THAT'S not it(although a post or posts could have been removed). This IS a personally financed & maintained site - the capt'n calls the shots.

I feel that a partial explanation is in order.

On one hand I am reluctant to violate Phil's privacy; but on the other I am reluctant to leave the situation unexplained.

Yes, Phil's "LedWatch" account was disabled a while back, but he has at least one other account here which is still active and he could use it to post if he so chose. This first account was in use prior to his LedWatch account, and was initially used to promote LedWatch's services; later to childishly tease and provoke quite a number of forum members, including myself. When I finally confronted Phil with this fact, he expressed no inclination to apologize to me or to any of the other forum members that he had misled for two years, and his only apparent regret was that he didn't know he would be caught.

LedWatch is the only account that I have ever disabled on this forum, and I was very reluctant to do so. In reality it takes quite a lot to get me to even consider disabling an account. But I feel that in this case it was warranted because Phil was misrepresenting himself; he was misleading members of the forum; he was instigating attacks on people when he thought that he was operating behind a fake name, continuing to do so after I asked people to stop any personal attacks; and I felt deceived and insulted by his actions and by his flippant response when caught.
LED watches are quiet and polite. No ticking, no tocking, no beeping, no buzzing; they will only tell you the time when you ask to see it and they will do so instantly with no attention-seeking animations. A more civilized watch for a more civilized age.

OK ENOUGH TIME HAS PASSED ALONG WITH INFORMATIVE POSTS ALTERED OR DELETED RERGARDING THIS DEBATE THAT I NEVER STARTED.ALSO I AM TIRED OF WAITING FOR MY NAME TO BE REMOVED AS AUTHOR. I WAS NOT THE AUTHOR OF THIS TOPIC!!!!.

JUST BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATOR FELT WE(ED,MYSELF AND COLLECTOR) WERE GOING OFF TOPIC"HOLY GRAIL FOR SALE" IS NO REASON TO CONTINUE FALSLY LABELING ME AUTHOR.SO FOR THE 5 TH TIME PLEASE REMOVE MY NAME AS AUTHOR.

WHAT PURPOSE WAS THERE TO REMOVE CERTAIN POSTS?ABOUT HALF? AND WHY HAS MY TRADEMARK BEEN ALTERED TO ? INSTEAD OF TM THAT WAS POSTED OVER A YEAR AGO? THESE ARE THE TYPE OF CONTROLING GAMES I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT THE FORUM.MUCH OF MY TIME SPENT HERE AT THE FORUM ANSWERING QUESTIONS IN THE PAST HAS GONE TO WAIST,PRESUMABLY TO CONSERVE SPACE.

WHAT HAPPENED TO "SUSPICIOUS SYNCHRONAR AT EBAY" TOPIC THAT I AUTHORED? IT SHEDS LIGHT ON EBAY MEMBER 01-STUFF[I errased this earlier because I found it in the ebay section and it is about a different seller. Not sure why this has popped backup? but somewhere or another I remember posting about 01 stuff>

AS FOR THIS DEBATE THAT I NEVER STARTED.NO ONE HAS BOTHERED RESEARCHING OR BEING A JOURNALIST ON THE SUBJECT AND VISITED ME TO CONFIRM MANY THINGS.

CHEERS TO THE JIMMY CARTER TYPE THAT JOINED AND VOTED FOR "BOTH", ALTHOUGH ROGER W. RIEHL,MYSELF AND MANY OTHERS CONSIDER "BOTH" TO MEAN RIEHL ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRO DATA.AFTER ALL THEY WERE THE "BOTH" THAT KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING EARLY ON.

Howard - hold on, nobody is trying to mess with you.

The split threads - the unfortunate reality is that once a thread is split, it can not be rejoined. At the point where the thread is split, the top poster of the new thread shows up as the author - these threads clearly show they were split off. And yes, this was done before my time.

Your "TM"...where would this appear? This has certainly not been removed intentionally.

Answers given in the past and deleted threads: some of the older threads were deleted due to "auto-pruning", which means after a set period of time, if there were no postings on a topic it dissappeared. Hosting is cheap enough that I have turned all "Auto-pruning" off, and will try to keep it that way. Some of the answers have changed - even some of your answers have changed as you have gotten farther along in your own understanding of the watch your father created.

Work with me here - nobody understands the "get pissed off and beat my chest" method better than the referree(me)....I can't change the past or even readjust small portions of it here for perfect clarity. It is not a "controlling game" - you've told me you resent me buying the forum. There are infinately worse people who could have ended up at the helm - look, I try to promote everyone evenly, have tried to bring some of those who had ended up at the fringe back into the "fold" including you.

Journalists are taught to avoid sources that have an agenda, but little documentation. All sources are suspect in my book - pictures, papers or sit down you're rocking the boat.

OK sounds fair even though I want to simply email photos to you, then you can post them since you are experienced in the area of size, format and so forth.

I did not tell you or anybody else that I resent you buying the forum.I do think you sometimes try too hard at doing others thinking and many times you will alter something with good intentions and just not realize we should keep freedom of speach and individual expression intact.

I understand the auto pilot explanation, but that does not explain a few hand picked topics over two years old that still exist?

Not to nit pick here ED but many times I like to look back at an earlier posting from a member. For example some were members before you or I that have like 100 posts near their avatar but only a dozen or less to find when you hit the 'read all posts by________" . Just not fair to them being deleted as a reference in a old or new topic discussion. IMO

So basicly you take the stance that all info must channel through here via picture/scan work or it is not accepted? as fact?

"You know exactly what you did to piss me off by buying your way into publishing false opinionated claims of all my Thousands of hours of Hard Work " - from your email where you were going to leave the forum, entitled,"Departing Draft".

The Trademark symbol mystery - you just answered yourself under a different thread! :P .... I am to be chastized for the loss of a semi-precious thread, or is it just your inability to find it?! :P

Like I said - "auto pruning" has been turned off, so postings will continue to pile up.

Howard, opinions are always welcome without being strained by me or anyone else? We are not talking about every little topic here - we are talking about the infamous "Pulsar vs. Synchronar - which came first" debate. When someone wants to establish highly critical points of history or specifications, we'd rather there was some documentation. Otherwise, the existing documentation trumps any verbal claims. It's your job to find/provide the means to convince people - not mine.

Not sure what brought on this sudden barage of complaints - you'd been laying low for awhile. :?

So a computer just decided to go in and change Synchronar™ to Synchronar?----?.So you think I have something to proove? that will only be accepted if the copied versions of documents is posted here at the forum World?

As for your post with my mail I was refering to your failed journalism and publishing in antique week magazine about the Synchronar history without even getting some facts from me.Nothing to do with this forum and weather I resent you buying it.Once again a simple breakdown in communications that could have been resolved a much easier way called email if you care not to make the journalistic trip to see the official live original documents.
Strange that I must bite the hand that feeds me(your one of my best customers) to get a point accross.I know you have invested some money on old non workers and bought from me as well but that does not mean I will alow history on this watch to be shed in a false light.

Your right this forum could have very easily fallen into anyones hands with the $$$ and it certainly could have been a much more suspicious dude than you.

Overall I praise the majority of your work here and that should be what counts.

Actually, it was me, 4 or 5 months ago. But not just to you, to anyone using any of the HTML "special" codes - until about three days ago, you wouldn't have been able to change it to show the trademark symbol if you wanted to. Has to do with whether HTML is turned on or turned off for the site and/or postings. Since I have managed to beat the spammers down to less than one a week, I felt I could safely turn HTML back on, with little chance of someone posting a link directly to sites having nothing to do with watches, or worse, polluting our members machines with spamware, spyware and other such stuff. Tor had made a lot of customizations to the site that were lost when it was brought over to another hosting company.

One of your best customers, despite everything else.
