rare one of the first LCD watches:
OPTEL (branded for Kuatron) FIELD EFFECT LCD 1973
unworn New Old Stock with some storage wear.
goldplated case with stainless steel back.
these were sold by Greg Zanoni the son of the inventor with leather straps but in my opinion a real 70's stainless goldplated bracelet fits this watch better.
stem-set module that has been soldered manually at the factory.
the module has never been played with or repaired.
the shock-absorbing sponge around the quartz crystal is slowly deteriorating due to age but this does not influence the module.
shows hours and minutes only with flashing collon.
keeps time.
what you see under the crystal is just some dust that I have already removed.
