I'm not going to belabor it, but realistically, our gay, watch collecting breathren probably make up 1/3 of the collectors, despite gay-folk only making up about 1/6 of the general population. I'm basing this theory on my personal observations and conversations with various collectors and some of the gay folks I know. From a practical standpoint, they have more discretionary income, as they haven't had children(in most cases). The collecting market and places like these forums would not be the same without them.

Many famous designers and artists are/were gay, so we are apparently appreciative of their handiwork.
Personally, I'm thinking I'd rather discuss watches with a guy(s) who likes guys, than a guy who sells me fake Pulsar glass or wants to rip me off in some other fashion and have a good laugh over it.. The former might be thinking about putting it up my bung

, but the latter IS going to do it, against your will - and no lube.
