Been accused that the Majestyk is an LCD watch

So what do you guys make of this? A customer of mine received my Majestyk Red M1 watch today and this is the email he sent me:

Hi, received watch today. I'm very, very disappointed with you..this is NOT an LED watch but a back lit crap which you sold me. You are passing these watches as TRUE LED when infact they are NOT and you know that.

your a very dishonest seller. i'm going to leave you a negative feedback to warn others who may fall victim to your cheaply produced back-lit crap

I have since sent him photos of the Majestyk module, out of the case, and a photo of another watch that does have an LCD back lit (led-look-a-like) display.

The easy way to tell a LCD back lit is that the liquid crystal display is always visible.

Is there anything else you guys can suggest that I tell him or is it a losing battle?

Send him this link - I might have panned it a bit on the weight & size, but the module was a solid piece of work. Possibly he doesn't understand how LEDs are made these days.

Oh I offered a refund but he says that he doesn't take my word that I will give him his money back. This guy is something else. Never come across anyone like him in the 10 years I've been on ebay. I should have know, he accused my watch of being an LCD before buying it, so he hated it before even seeing it...Which I have no problem with; it's just the LCD accusation and now the distrust.

Hopefully he will post here, I gave him the link to DWF.

Maybe his head has been filled with horror stories from other people warning of the numerous fraudsters and cheats on eBay and, not fully understand the difference between the new LED display and the original 1970 display, has jumped to the wrong conclusions.
I would give him a chance to digest the facts and wait to see if he comes back with a different attitude.

Actually I don't think he can digest anything. According to toolhaus.org (love that site) he has left 71 Negative feedbacks to sellers. Some might be legit but others are for the most anal retentive reasons. I also think he might be too young to be on ebay. His last email to me was simply:

"yur watch belongs in a thrash can"

I originally put this thread up so maybe he can come and join the discussion but I don't think there is any point now.

They say that there is always one - and it looks like you have found him!!

He sent you a very rude email to start with, but I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt.

With that many negatives left the comments say more about the person leaving the feedback than the actual recipient of the feedback so I wouldn't worry - potential buyers are savvy enough to filter out the pillocks and see them for what they are.

Don't worry about the neg, just report it to eBay and they will remove it. Just forget about this idiot and move forward, if you let him get to you he's winning. 'Illegitimi non carborundum'

Well he did it. He left negative. His remark is very slanderous and I'm sure ebay will do something about it; especially after reading his emails that I sent them.

Jeff, you need to give us his email address,as he might contact others out here. If you offered a refund that guy had no room to bitch. But some people are just unreasonable or trying some sort of scam. I had one last month that thought I would send a second piece, before they returned the one they said claimed was multifunctional. I even offered to refund their return shipping cost. Didn't want it! No return was made! Psycho!

No, they said they won't. I'm actually talking to a lawyer right now. Again, it's not the neg. It's the warning that the watch isn't LED.

I sent out the wrong item once, the buyer returned the item, I covered all costs and made sure that the buyer received the correct item. it was a genuine simple mistake and it was all sorted out in a polite and courteous manner. The buyer left me damming negative and told me he was reporting me to Ebay???

Negatives always sting but unfortunately we all have to endure one every now and then, its almost a surety when dealing with the general public, there's no pleasing some people.

Take it on the chin Jeff and move on, your feedback is still outstanding and no one takes any notice of the odd idiot.

(It`ll disappear in 12 months) (when the negative moves to the second page, no one reads it anyway)
