Hamilton LCD w/CASIO module

Post28 Nov 2010, 22:16

I can not find any info about this watch.
Does anyone know where I could find out more on the Hamilton Japan early LCD's?...Book, Website, or ???
I'm looking for specific year of release, and how many different LCD Hamilton styles made (If known).
Thanks for any help ;-)

The Casiotron model is 03-506. I also think Tissot used this case and module.

The Tissot model is here

http://www.digitalwatchlibrary.com/DWL/ ... casiotron/

and here

http://www.digitalwatchlibrary.com/DWL/ ... t_-_Casio/

They date from around 1976-1977

Also used on the S-11

http://www.digitalwatchlibrary.com/DWL/ ... asio_s-11/

I will try and get a photo of the 03-503 as it looks identical to your Hamilton including the liquid crystal wording.

Casio, QW03-51S, $178.00, 1/1/1976, QW03, 386, Alias 03-503(ON BACK).

Thank you Adam for the wealth of info :-D
I had narrowed my search to "Hamilton" only not realizing that there may have been others using the same module
Many thanks for sharing the info, and pointing me in the right direction!
