Bulova Drivers N7 - 255 / 955 module *wanted*

Post01 Dec 2010, 20:09

Hi Guys,

lol well i wont go into the full story of this watch but basically I still have it... I was refunded in full for this watch after a Paypal appeal process and i returned it to the seller.... he refused to sign for it so eventually it was returned to me.... LOL more fool him as had he signed for it he would have got to keep the money AND the watch!!!

Still his loss is my gain and as the watch now owes me nothing I have started the repair process......

When i got this watch it had sticky button issues and i think i have have now cured this.

The module, however, was completely fubar so if anyone has one of these that they would like to part with PLEASE PM me!!

I dont have a great deal of cash to spend at the moment so thought i would ask on here.... in the meantime if i have no luck it will give me time to save up for the one that Ed has :-)

Pictures below are of the module in question....

At first I thought "the module looks perfect, what could be wrong with it?" but then I noticed that the background on photos 1,3, and 4 looks like on azimuth_pl's photos. So only the 2nd photo shows your actual module? Looks like a missing PCB trace, but not beyond repair, IMO.

Anyway, are you saying you now got the money back AND the watch, and the seller has neither of it? It deserves him well

The little shitester tried to rip me off!!!

At the very least it deserves a LOL he got his money didnt he!!!?? what he didnt get was the watch back so as he could rip someone off again with it!!

I nearly lost my money and had to appeal it through Paypal as the little shit wouldnt give me a refund.

And im not sure what you mean by "handle it privately with Ed" at the end of the day im advertising for a spare part and will trade with whoever i can get it cheapest from!!

I dont understand you sometimes Jeff!!?

lol youre quite correct mate... I "borrowed" the pics from the other website apart from the second pic which is mine.

Yes I got the money back AND the watch but Pigeoncocksucker also kept my original payment as i won my money back off of Paypal through appeal.

He REFUSED to sign for the watch back so it was purely by chance I got it back.

Well Jeff if he was just an idiot then i might agree!!

but he isnt just an idiot is he.... he is a nastly little conman who rips people off by misdescribing watches.

Also you havent seen all the shitty nasty emails i got from the w@nker.

also i havent actually got one up on him as he got to keep the money didnt he!!

what i have got is a watch that needs a lot of time, effort and money spent on it to get it running.

Tell you what though Jeff how about you dont post on my threads and i wont post on yours as you dont seem to have any constructive opinions to add or to offer me any help.

I dont particularly like you and you dont like me so maybe keep your opinions to yourself and i will do the same on your threads and we wont have a problem eh.

It appears I have brought out the real markyd3

You're showing others here how you interact in a public venue.

And completely lost sight of why you are interested in this hobby. Relax, take a deep breath, it is only a hobby.

Regards, Jeff

No not at all... you just really wind me up!!

You seem to think that i should show some sort of "chivalry" towards someone who was quite prepared to offload what he thought was a total loss watch onto me and also has tried to rip others off on this site.... plus the little anus has been banned from this site because he is such a tosser!!!

The very fact that little shit winds me up is because as you say this is just a hobby and i thought i was dealing with people on here who were genuine "watch people" and not out to rip people off!!

If you had seen the emails i had got from him basically gloating on how he thought he had got one up on me you would not be defending his honour!!!

Regardless where i did the deal with him i relied on his description to honestly describe the watch i was buying... i didnt even realise it was him i was dealing with until i posted the link on here and i was gutted... even when i asked him if it was him from this website he just constantly denied it!!! even though i knew!!

so... forgive me if im rather chuffed that (a) i got my money back and (b) he didnt get the watch back and i did!!!! Ive already put hours into it and have resolved the button issue and now it just needs a module!!!

Anyway.... if anyone has got a module for this watch please do PM me!!!

Actually he most probably didn't so this looks a bit like gloating.

When you start a PayPal claim they take the amount being claimed for out of the sellers account (yup - they can do that) and put it on hold until they either a) decide in favour of the buyer and refund the money or b) The seller doesn't need the stress and refunds the buyer themselves.

This is also the case with items lost in the post without a tracking number and items which are damaged in the post .

PayPal rarely (if ever) take a hit for anything.

no he definately got his money mate.. i checked with Paypal.

they made an error at the start of the claim basically the case was initially awarded to me and then someone else who was working on it awarded it to him.

I had to go through the whole appeal process which i won and basically because it was a Paypal cock up they paid me out themselves.

I would not have gloated on here if he hadnt got the money!! although TBH that would have been the outcome i would have preferred with him then having the watch back.

Wow, I leave the house for a few minutes and you kids are tearing the place up.

Kind of reminds me of a time when I had just got done doing some major remodeling of the house and had bought(rewarded) myself with two leather sitting chairs(green leather, brass button and tuck, really nice). I leave the house for only 20-30 minutes and come home to find one chair has a broken leg, the other chair has a nasty slice across the arm and there is a bit of blood on the floor, carpet and chairs. Turns out nobody is dead - my teenage sons started fighting over who used the computer, the older one thought he would threaten the younger(stronger and more atheletic)one with my largest kitchen knife. Younger(stupidly) thought he would disarm his brother, cuts were made to one's palm, the other's arm, then both decided they were in a shitload of trouble and went to hide in their respective bedrooms or the lav. And as I am wont to say," and then the fight [arsewhipping] started".

This thread is really degraded, but I figure everyone in the Northern Hemisphere is suffering a little seasonal effect disorder due to the lower amount of daylight (too say nothing of holiday related stress, compounded by tight economy), so I'll leave this up for a day or so and then it will "vanish". Unless someone really feels the thread has some merit beside entertainment. I do like a fur fight that I am not part of. Can't explain it. M:)W:)M
