Digitime HH Battery Question

Post13 Feb 2011, 07:01

Ok, so I got my hands on one of these this weekend and am trying to get it to work.

1. Are both of these working battery compartments
2. Should one battery be up and the other pointed down?

Thanks in advance...here is what I have...except it does not say digitime on the back and has the HH

Looks like a Hughes module.
Large pad on the board should have positive down. Smaller pad should have positive up. See here:

Installed new batteries...nada

was hoping to get it working.

Would cleaning the contacts help? Is there an effective, recommended way to do so?

My apologies...laziness I guess. Been searching the forums for an answer. Will update later...in the meantime I also got my hands on a branded Hughes model...should I attempt a removal of the back?

Do the battery "covers" need to be over the batteries in order to test the module?
