Braun DW20 & DW30 LCD watches.

Post17 Dec 2011, 09:23

Firstly hello from a newbie.

I have been into digital watches since 1998 and become intrigued and obsessed by the LCD watches produced by Braun in the late 1970s.

Would like to share my interest with you so please check out my website: www.braunlcdwatches.com

I like the Braun LCD a lot, real design classics, and your website has been a great source of information for me.
It's such a pity the DW30 was only available with leather strap - I would have preferred the metal bracelet.

Jack: Welcome to dwf.nu. Great site you have. I am curious if you have any of the early Braun clocks too. I have some NOS bezels and other parts for them, and have always wished I could find someone who was fan of those, who would make good use of them. They were part of an odd lot I bought years ago...

Thanks Ed,

I have had a few clocks but never got into serious collecting - I do however have a friend who would probably like the parts as he is more into the Braun clocks.

I note that you are selling Pieter Doensen's book on your website - great book and my wife and I visited Pieter at his home in the Netherlands many years ago to view his collection - he is a great guy who made us extremely welcome and is responsible for setting me off on my digital journey.

Regards, Jack
