opening M159-5028, advice and help requested (pics)

ciao a tutti !
I have just received this nice piece of history, and is going to be my everyday wear for a while. (I was wearing an M158 before than this).
However, I can't open it, and since I want to polish the glass, opening the watch is necessary.
I tried with few things, including thin screwdrivers, the edge of a cutter,
the corner of some blades, but nothing.
The tool I have (see last pic) is obviously too big ...
I don't want to push my luck too much, watch was sold for a ridiculous
price and although without bracelet it was just in need of a new battery ...
Is not too dirty, but it really seems stuck .... what can I do ???

These can be a real bitch to get off. Sometimes I find I use a flat blade screwdriver and lever it off by putting the end part in the top of the batt hatch.
Granted it dents the case back, but there is no there way, trust me. I have tried everything

Even with the screwdriver method you will break a sweat with the pressure you have to apply.

The only other way which can work if its not on too tight, but still tight is to use one of these in the same way you would use a case back knife. The blade is incredibly strong and will normally work, I have only had to use the screwdriver method a couple times

do you think that some oil drops on the back where the two halves meet would help or not ?

I had thought of oil drops but be careful to only use a small amount. If the oil seeps through to the fascia front the only way to remove it in my experience is to remove the glass and clean it off.

I know, that's my fear.
I'll be soon receiving another M159 which has a faulty segment,
and therefore has to be opened anyway.
I'll do some testing on that and keep the thread updated,
any (non destructive) idea is welcome !

take an icecube, roll it in a thin platic foil (platic foil they use for covering food..thin and flexible), lay it on the floor and lay the watchcase on the cube and wait 10 minutes..then try again.
The back will get cold but not the whole case..then open it with force.
