A real time capsule. Nice pristine, or at least it looks to be pristine. It always intrigues me so much these days to see hand written receipts on anything bought before the great technological takeover of the computer appliances of the 1990's. Store clerks actually had to keep accurate records with a log book, and write out the receipts and give the customer a copy for their own record.
Today, in the disposable wasteland of cheap plastic, and low-grade metal, a lot of things have become disposable. Does anyone remember when there was "Electrical Motor Repair" services? Yes, that existed one time. But then again, this is an old story of exchange higher/lower quality for Higher/Lower prices. But I think it is sad. I liked getting attached to my Vacuum cleaner, and if it broke? who cares, I would run down to Harry's Appliance Repairs, and he would replace the part that wore out after 3 yrs, and we were good to go again. Try that on a modern belt driven plastic vacuum today.
Nice watch for sure.
