Seiko 0624-5009 - eBay WOW

It always amazes me that when this watch model is put up on eBay people are driven to bid early on it! Seems that there is a lot of supposed value for this watch, and I realize there is, but it was mass produced if I am not mistaken, and we always see many of them up on eBay on a regular basis, so it is not like they are the rarest watch by Seiko. I really want one myself, but it looks as though I will have to wait till I am at a watch show of a sales yard to get lucky and buy one.

I wonder if this is any of our auctions from the forum here.

I agree retrowrist, and i get the same feeling with the "common" G757 models, there are plenty of those around on ebay and some of them don't even work, still they always seem to collect high prices.
I guess it's the "bond" link, most of the G757 sellers refer to it ,and it's almost never a G757-5020 they are selling.
