Revix ESA module....ok!

Post11 Nov 2013, 18:52

Hi....i open the watch and the circuit was very clean so i put in a fresh battery and the watchlights up immediatly!!! :-D :-D
I change the original band (broken :bang: ) and i fit a new good matching one (comes from an old commodore led).
I'm very impressive: the light is incredible! This ESA module are build like a tank
Anyway i don't know this brand. I make an internet search but nothing,Revix seems to be unknow.Probably the year could be 1978 but i'm not sure at all.
About citizen, well is not working...a big lot of battery leakage and a crack in the upper left of the lcd panel (near the connector),so nothing to do....

here some pics for you

I have a bunch of MBO watches which use the same module, you're right the back light is impressive! The best back light I've seen on any 70/80s LCD watches.

The order may seem wrong, with settings at the end, but this is the order it was written in the book..

You're welcome, they have some strange settings on those ESA modules and can take some working out without instructions.

Cool catch. I'm glad it works, congrats! Now you should search for a four digit ESA module! 8-)
