My Seiko Quartz LC 0124 0030

Post29 Dec 2013, 03:12

Hi guys. New member here...48 years old, and from Canada. I recently started collecting watches, primarily digital, and wanted to share a find that I picked up a couple of weeks ago. Its a 1976 Seiko Quartz LC 0124 0030, and I paid $15.00. I would have to put this at an 8.5 or a 9 out of 10 condition wise. I opened it up, replaced the battery, gave it a wash, and voila. I'm pretty pleased with it, and it is somewhat reminiscent of my first digital watch in the late 1970's when I was a kid. Any thoughts or feedback is appreciated (sorry about the dust on the lens).

hi and welcome to the board from all us mods.

That a real bargain, and still in excellent shape. The crown is still sharp so it had not much time around a wrist. a keeper :-D 8.5 to 9 /10

Keep posting these gems, everyone here loves to see them. :dwf: "willkommen"

One of my favourite watches to work on. Some really old school assembly methods in there and an awesome crown operation assembly
